Online

Use our shopping cart to order items on the pages of our web site. You can easily add, change and update you selections in the shopping bag. Log In to Your account with Act II if you registered with your last order.

During checkout you will be given the option to register. We suggest that you create an account. That way you can view the past orders and reprint them if you need to do that. You can also create an address book for sending orders to addresses you use often! When you return next time, the cart will remember your billing information, except for the credit card information.

Check out of the shopping cart and select whether you want to use Master Card, Visa, or American Express, or Paypal to make your purchase. You can now submit a purchase order from a school online and follow up with the authorizing documents.

You will be prompted for billing and shipping information. An E-mail will be sent to confirm your order. We will send an E-mail to you to notify you when the item is mailed.  We use the standard postal codes for the US and Canada.

Please contact if you do not get an email confirming your order within a few minutes.

We have a special order page that you can use to make online payment for additional postage or other special circumstances. E-mail your request We will let you know about the availability, the shipping and handling, and total cost so you can order pay using our secure, special ordering page. 

US Mail If you want to pay by mail, then send your request to us with the item numbers, name, quantity and price. The address to the right is our store address. Please send you payments or orders by mail to the PO Box. as there is no delivery to the street number. Act II Books and Puppets

Forms of Payment

  • Customers must be 18 years or older to place an order and make payments. By submitting an order, the customer acknowledges that they are 18 years or older and agree to our terms of sale.
  • We accept Master Card, VISA, American Express, and PayPal using secure online processing. The credit cards automatically handle any currency exchange.
  • You may pay by personal or business check. All checks must be made in US funds. Allow 9 banking days for written checks to clear after we receive them.
  • PayPal is available if you purchase items from our Ebay Store. Sales on Ebay and our website can not be combined for free shipping.

School and Library Purchase Orders

  • We accept purchase orders from public schools, libraries, or other bonafide educational institutions if the purchase order is for $100 or more. You can use our shopping cart to create the purchase order list and submit it to us. Then follow up the order with a signed PO from your institution. The authorizing document, including the list of items being ordered, can be faxed to us.
  • No shipping charges for purchase orders of $250 to locations in the continental US. Purchase orders less than $250 will be charged $9.99 postage as well as POs to either Alaska or Hawaii.
  • State tax charged only for orders delivered to Washington.
  • We do not accept purchase orders from noneducational entities, educational institutions, or libraries not located in the United States.
  • Please include an email address so that we can inform you if your PO does not meet our requirements - if not, you will not be notified. We reserve the right to refuse any purchase order.
  • You may Fax your order to 1.360.364.0044 (we use Efax) or mail your purchase order using ourshopping cart or your school or library forms. Purchase orders submitted online must be followed up by a signed PO with an organization and address that we can verify. Shipping and Handling

United States

  • Continental US - Orders over $95 are not charged postage for destinations within the continental United States. Please plan on orders of ~$38 or more being shipped by United Parcel Service (UPS). Delivery time by UPS is 2 to 7 business days depending on where you are. The greatest times are for delivery to the northern New England area. Orders under ~$38 will be shipped by priority US mail.
  • Tax is charged for orders shipped to Washington State
  • Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and APO/FPO over 4 lbs in weight do not get free shipping. Shipping for these orders will be $9.99 for orders up to $150 and $14.95 for orders above that due to dimensional weight from the USPS. You can find out the shipping charges by putting in your shipping zip code for US Delivery addresses in our shopping cart
  • The following table shows how we charge shipping and handling (S/H) for shipments to locations in the United States. Note: Read about purchase orders above as these shipping charges do not apply to orders not paid in advance.

  • Please contact us if you need Express mail delivery. We can adjust the shipping charges more accurately once we have your order and the actual weight and box size are known.

Canada

  • Orders under 4 lbs pay the same shipping as for Continental US shown above.
  • Orders over 4 lbs pay $9.99 shipping.

  • Orders are shipped by US Postal Service. Please contact us for UPS delivery or if you need faster delivery. Additional charges may apply.
  • We will confirm your order placement by email if you ordered online and provided a working email. Email us if you have questions.

Other Countries

  • Shipping to other countries is based on weight. Shipping is calculated by our shopping cart using real time USPS postage. Orders under 4 lbs are assumed to be First Class Mail International and Priority Mail International if over 4 lbs.
  • Customers are responsible for any VAT, import, or other country-specific taxes which can vary considerably from country to country.
  • Please contact us if you need Express mail delivery. We can adjust the shipping charges more accurately once we have your order and the actual weight and box size are known.

Shipping Time.

  • Orders to the United States and Canada are shipped by US Postal Service (priority mail) or United Parcel Service (ground service) depending on the order amount. Orders receiving free shipping are usually sent by United Parcel Service. Typical delivery times to the East Coast are 2 -3 days by US Postal Service and 5 - 7 days by UPS Ground Service. Less time the closer you are to Seattle Washington. These shipping times are business days after we ship. If an item is not in stock, it may take an extra week for delivery.
  • We do not automatically offer next day or 2nd day delivery since it is possible that we don't have all the stock on hand, but will soon. We can ship by US Postal Service Express Mail (2 days to most places in the US) or UPS 2nd Air or Next Day Air at extra costs. If you need it sooner than the normal priority mail (orders under $38) or UPS Ground Service (orders over ~$38) then you need to contact us very soon after the order is placed as we usually package and send the order out within a few days or less.
  • Orders Outside the US are all sent by US Postal Service as explained in our details on shipping. Faster delivery is available but may require extra postage.
  • We use the standard postal codes for the US and Canada.


Disclaimer

  • Not all of the items listed on this web site are necessarily in stock at any given time. We make every effort to keep our listings on the internet consistent with available stock. If a book or puppet is not available, is out of stock, or an item is no longer available for an extended time we will notify you so you can decide if you would like us to hold your order or adjust your payment you have made.

    We try to provide you with the best products possible, but sometimes things do get damaged or just don't work out for you. Make sure you read the product information or ask us about it before you buy. 

  • Our liability is limited to returning your payment or crediting your credit card. We usually ship by US Mail, but individual books may be shipped by other means. Contact us for special shipping needs. Other options are available at increased costs.
  • Act II Books and Puppets does not provide any warranty for transactions or communications that you may have with links from our site to other resources.
  • In general, currently produced puppets are sold at 20% off normal retail prices. We reserve the right to remove an item from your order if it was priced incorrectly due to typographically error. We will notify you if we intend to remove the item from your order.
  • We do not share your personal or ordering information without your prior approval. Privacy Policy


Order Changes, Returns and Cancellations

  • We may be able to make changes to your order after it is placed, but we may charge $1 to make those changes to cover bank fees.
  • We will accept returns of reasonable nature for puppets, hats, and books if the items are returned in original condition. Returns will not be accepted for any reason after 30 days after we ship the order. Make sure you check your order for damage due to shipping and operability of all tapes and videos. We must be contacted by email within 5 days of receipt of videos if they are opened and are being returned.
  • There is NO review period for Videos purchased from us. Please make sure that you read our return policies. Orders will be cancelled that indicate that you are reviewing the videos. These videos are inspected when we get them in and when we ship them to make sure the heat shrink wrap are intact as provided by the publisher.
  • Inspect your items upon receipt. We do not pay for damage due to use after receipt.
  • Contact us prior to sending items back. Returns should be made after contacting us regarding the reason for the return. Requests for returns and refunds must be made within five (5) days of receipt of item(s). Items returned must be in original condition, including orginal tags attached to the item bought, and individual packaging exclusive of any shipping package. If the item is shrink wrapped (such as Videos), it can not be returned for full credit if opened. There is no restocking fee if we are contacted prior to the return, but a restocking fee of up to 25% of the order amount may be charged for items returned outside our guidelines. Closed out items may not be returned. Damaged items must be returned prior to receiving a credit or items in exchange. This is necessary so that we can determine how to prevent damage in the future or to contact our suppliers to let them know of problems with their products. Credits to credit cards may be made electronically and credits to checks are made by mail in US funds. A nominal fee may be charged for returns that received free shipping even if all returned items are in original condition and the tags are attached.
  • Customers are responsible for any postage to return items. If we agree to pay a refund for return postage, it will be refunded based on the cost of US Postal Service charges. We do not refund for higher rates charged by other carriers.
  • We are not responsible for items lost due to incorrect shipping addresses or failure of customer to pick up or otherwise arrange to receive the orders. Make sure you provide the correct addresses.
  • Postage paid is not refundable for returned items. We may offset any refund by a nominal postage for items returned if postage was not paid for the order when placed.
  • Regular orders placed from our standard web pages may be cancelled within 5 days (120 hours) of ordering if the item is not shipped.
  • In the event of an error in pricing on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund payments for such incorrect amounts.
